Biamp Introduces Devio – Next Generation Collaboration Platform
Biamp Systems recently announced the addition of new models in their popular Devio product family, the Devio SCR-20 and Devio SCR-25. Both the models include fully integrated HDMI audio, support for 4K30 HDMI output, HDCP 1.4, BYOD connectivity, and multiple software improvements. The Devio SCR-25 also supports connectivity via Bluetooth® and a wired headset jack for VoIP/POTS handsets. The patented Beamtracking™ microphones follow the people as they move and the DSP technology optimizes audio quality with minimal far-end echo.

Crestron announces the debut of AirMedia 2.0 – the next generation of its popular AirMedia wireless presentation technology. It is designed to be the fastest, easiest, most manageable, and secure wireless presentation solution. AirMedia 2.0 is network-based and can be deployed, configured, and managed from the cloud. It lets presenters wirelessly connect their smart devices and laptops to the room display, regardless of the operating system while reducing wires or dongles cluttering the table. Lutron adds Voice Assistant Support for Lighting Control
Lutron Caseta Wireless lighting control system can now be operated through all three of the major voice-controlled smart devices: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri. Users can brighten and dim, turn on and off, and engage lighting scenes for via their respective smart devices. Voice-activated commands can easily cover the usual lighting control requests to quickly adjust different lighting moods. While shade control is available for all the three voice assistant platforms, Lutron is relentlessly trying to improve compatibility further.

Planar Introduces AV Industry’s First Flat Panel LED Video Wall
Leading manufacturers of visualization, display, and digital signage technology Planar launched the TWA series – a family of high-quality flat panel LED video wall displays. The series is a line of fine pitch LED video walls available in 0.9, 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 and 2.5 millimetres pitches. The core design ideology is focused on reducing power consumption and improving operational reliability.
