Audio Visual – Project Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager

About the Job

Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in project implementation, scheduling and supervision efforts for audio visual projects. Should have hands on experience in handling multiple projects independently and should be a good team player.

• Minimum Experience: 5+ years in AV projects
• Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics preferred

Job Description

• Plan and engineer projects end to end: Develop and manage project schedules using project management software. Conduct site surveys, coordinate CAD drawings, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams, and ensure the configuration of all technology systems is resolved before installation begins.
• Coordinate with site stakeholders: Work closely with PMCs, architects, general contractors, and electrical contractors to clear dependencies, sequence trades, and maintain a smooth project flow from mobilisation through to handover.
• Lead on-site installation: Work alongside technicians to safely mount equipment in walls and ceilings, build and dress racks, and manage cable infrastructure to Actis’s quality standards. Maintain a working knowledge of technical products to support procurement and acquisition documentation.
• Commission and test rigorously: Update firmware, prove systems end to end, and conduct thorough testing before any client handover. Use test and calibration equipment to diagnose faults and support user acceptance testing.
• Own project documentation and handover: Compile complete operation manuals, as-built drawings, and project documentation packages. Deliver structured handovers that leave clients confident and fully informed.
• Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders: Provide regular written and verbal project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Attend review calls as required and represent Actis’s standards of professionalism on every site.
