Ahmedabad University partnered with Actis to create one of India’s most advanced AV infrastructures across its heritage ANSOM building and the new Student Activity Centre. The goal was to enhance academic and recreational experiences through flexible, immersive AV environments.
The Solutions
Actis implemented tailored AV solutions across two buildings, designed to support a wide variety of activities with high-quality communication, presentation and event capabilities.
Key Project Highlights
- Multipurpose Sports & Event Hall: Transformed an indoor basketball court into a 1000-seater event space using automated retractable bleachers, laser projection and integrated AV with stage lighting.
- Academic & Meeting Spaces: Equipped 50, 80 and 40-seater classrooms, plus 20-seater VC-enabled conference rooms, preserving the integrity of the university’s heritage ANSOM building.
- Network-Wide Audio System : Installed a networked audio setup across the Student Activity Centre to deliver announcements and background music throughout various activity zones.
