1971
Founded in Mumbai in 1971 as General Engineering and Spares, a general-purpose engineering workshop producing parts for compressors, fans and diesel engines
1975
Developed the 35mm cement splicer, tape splicer, synchronizer and other film editing equipment that were exported to major film producing countries
1982-86
Developed and manufactured six models of Overhead Projectors for Meeting, Education and Training applications and evolved into the market leader for OHPs in India
1984
Set up a Pan-India network of OHP and AV dealers and resellers to bring customers easier access to our products
1986
1995
Amongst the first to introduce Multimedia Projectors in India, this accelerated the growth of the domestic AV industry

Started our first International Branch Office in the UAE
2016
- Launched Ooberpad, India’s first Smart AV e-commerce store. Pioneered an online consultative service for consumers
- Our founder, MANMOHAN GUPTA received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Systems Integration India Awards (SIIA).
