Mumbai, India, 12-Sep-16, – Actis Technologies Founder and Director Mr. Manmohan Gupta has been presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by Systems Integration, India at an awards ceremony held at InfoComm India 2016 in Mumbai.
The award highlights and honours Mr. Gupta’s achievements and contributions in the Audio Visual and Systems Integration industry over the last four decades. It was presented by Mr. David Labuskes, Executive Director and CEO at InfoComm International and describes Mr. Gupta as, “…the most distinguished visionary in Systems Integration in India…”
Over the last 45 years, Mr. Manmohan Gupta has led Actis’ evolution into one of India’s leading Systems Integration and Communication technology firms. Actis was a pioneer of the AV industry in India — involved in manufacturing and distributing 35mm film projectors, film editing tools, overhead projectors (OHPs) and multimedia projectors — before establishing itself as a leading Audio Visual Systems Integrator (AVSI) in the country.
On being asked about the future of the AVSI industry in India, Mr. Manmohan Gupta commented “We are roughly in the middle of the growth curve for AVSI in India – and there is a lot more growth ahead for the industry and for Actis in the coming years. We believe that this will come from the new applications that clients and our industry are able to dream up together.”
