The right combination of products and technology can ensure that your audio visual application needs, will be delivered at the best performance. Next generation switchers play a major role in handling the bandwidth, switching the backplane, deployment flexibility, and scalability.
Extron recently announced XTP II CrossPoint modular matrix switchers, which feature a 50 Gbps digital switching backplane, and help users to meet the challenges of 4K at the highest level of performance. The switching bandwidth for this product exceeds the data rate required to distribute 4K/60 video with 4:4:4 chroma sampling at 16 bits per color. It also provides additional bandwidth to accommodate future video resolutions and formats.
Available in three configurable frames 4×4 to 16X16, 32 X32 and 64 x 64, with easy-to-use software and 24/7 monitoring and control capabilities, it helps to meet the application needs of today’s AV systems.
Some Key Features are as follows
50 Gbps digital switching backplane
Switches 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 with 16 bits per color
Supports current and emerging video standards
Configurable from 4×4 to 64×64 to match a wide variety of applications
