Actis believes in making this world a better place by creating opportunities for all members of our community.

Our interventions are designed to:

Assist underprivileged children by helping eliminate malnutrition and support their primary education, which we consider a basic right of every child.
Participate in the rehabilitation of abandoned women and children as a way to assist them in creating a better future.
Improve healthcare infrastructure and make it more accessible to those who need it most, because of the critical role it plays in ensuring the health and well-being of our fellow citizens.

Life-Saving Machines For Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute

Perseverance in supporting lives and keeping families together

The absence of adequate life-saving equipment can fundamentally result in losing precious lives. As part of its CSR efforts, Actis donated life-saving machines to Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute. Motivated to collaborate with Bhaktivedanta Hospital in its pursuit to provide support in saving lives, Actis has continually shown its solidarity by providing emergency care and super-speciality medical services in a committed manner.

Actis maintains its unwavering commitment by providing several life-saving machines:

Cardiac Ambulance For BhaktiVedanta Hospital and Research Institute

Because every life counts

Actis intervened to assist cardiac patients in times of emergency by donating a Cardiac Ambulance to BhaktiVedanta Hospital and Research Institute. We have committed to working together with BhaktiVedanta Hospital on their journey of saving lives, helping families have wider smiles and more joyous memories.

The Outcomes:

Over the last two years, the Cardiac ambulance has been of high utility for hundreds of emergency calls which include Cardiac and other emergencies.
The ECG machine and defibrillator in the ambulance has been used by the medical team extensively in critical situations.
Also, the ambulance provided support for flood relief camps at Chiplun, Mahad in Maharashtra, catering to almost a thousand patients. The donated dialysis equipment too has benefited several thousand patients since it was deployed.

Suffice to say, all the equipment and the Cardiac Ambulance have been optimally used in service to patients.

Because our children represent the future

Actis has supported the infrastructure refurbishment of Anganwadis in the North-Western region of Mumbai by remodelling the kitchen area and introducing greening, solar lights and functional toilets. These Anganwadis are courtyard shelters which are meant to support early childhood development for children aged 0-6 years.

The program also works closely with young mothers to help raise awareness of the importance of hygiene, nutrition and early education. Actis implemented this program with the help of United Way India which is a leading global non-profit organisation.
