We felt that in order to achieve both the aesthetic and functional objectives that had been set, the control interface needed to be ‘mobile’ and its interface needed to incorporate presets and visual controls to provide ease-of-use, convenience and flexibility.
The Actis team designed an integrated control system that provides the ability to manage the home cinema, lighting and security functions for the apartment. The mobile colour touch panel allows single button control from any location in the house and can be used by even the youngest members of the household.
Other key features include a large wall-mounted Plasma TV connected to a VCR and DVD player and sound system. Motorised roller blinds are installed for sun control while a lighting control system provides programmed presets to create scenes and ambiences such as party, family gathering, dinner and home theatre.
